Time Limited Tasks Airworthiness Directives And Service Bulletins

When an aircraft is correctly maintained in accordance with the EASA regulations, there are many items which must be monitored on a time limited basis. Some are simply inspections which must be carried out at defined intervals and some are actual replacement or overhaul of certain components. The CAA can ground any aircraft which is not maintained in accordance with these schedules and lead times for components can be lengthy.

We will manage all of your time limited tasks for you under our airworthiness management obligations and will inform you when components are due for replacement or overhaul, or when inspections are due. We will also monitor the Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins issued by the manufacturer and embody these  as required by the regulations.

Although airworthiness management is covered in your contract maintenance, the cost of parts and labour for time limited task and AD compliance maintenance work is not covered due to the individual nature of each aircraft's calendar and hours based items.

However, as always we will inform you of any requirements and their costs before we commence work on them keeping you totally informed of any items not covered by your scheduled maintenance contract.
