Dec 1 2009 - Silverstar Introduces The Contract Maintenance Plan
In line with out commitment to bring down the cost of light aircraft maintenance and make it transparent in it's pricing structure, we our please to announce our new "Contract Maintenance" plan which gives you a fixed price maintenance schedule at totally transparent prices.
The plan is tailored to your individual requirements such as aircraft type and amount of utilisation per annum and breaks the scheduled maintenance costs down into a low monthly cost which you can rely on. Once your monthly rate is established you simply book your aircraft in for maintenance when required and we will do the rest as per our contract with you. We also cover your Part M and continued airworthiness management in the fixed costs so there are no hidden extras.
The plan covers your man power and parts allowance for all scheduled maintenance with only your defect rectification, time limited component replacement and betterment to be settled if any is relevant at each maintenance input. If we ever do identify that you need some additional work doing which is extra to your plan we will contact you and get your approval to continue before we commence the work.
The result, large unexpected maintenance bills at your annual check are a thing for other organisations, not at Silverstar!
Dec 1 2009 - New Line Station At City Airport Manchester (EGCB)
On 1st December 2009 we commenced an arrangement with Heli Support Ltd to open a new fixed wing line station at City Airport Manchester (EGCB). This line station will allow us to fix defects and conduct certain scheduled maintenance on the ground at City Airport Manchester without the need to send engineers there exceptionally or to fly the aircraft to Blackpool.
This enables us to offer excellent support for owners and operators based at City Airport Manchester who may wish to take advantage of our transparent and fair pricing structure, or our unique "Contract Maintenance" model.
The line station is expected to be up and running within the next two months and will be available for maintenance work servicing customers old and new shortly thereafter. No need to worry if you have a technical problem on the ground at City Airport Manchester. Silverstar will be there to fix it for you!
