Maintenance Programs
Under previous regulations most light aircraft were usually maintained in accordance with the LAMS (Light Aircraft Maintenance Schedule) or LAMP (Light Aircraft Maintenance Programme)
Under EASA regulations these schedules are now inadequate due to the individual nature of each aircraft. I.E. different modification status, avionics and fitment of extras etc. For this reason it has become necessary to construct a maintenance program for each individual aircraft.
Under your Continued Airworthiness Management arrangements with us we take responsibility for designing and upholding a maintenance program which is acceptable to the authority for your individual aircraft.
Key Points - Maintenance Schedules with Silverstar
The cost of designing a maintenance program for your particular aircraft is covered in your initial incoming aircraft alignment check. Once this is complete your aircraft is under our management and we will become responsible for all compliances.
If your aircraft is worked upon at another organisation we are required to provide them with a maintenance program and work pack for them to follow which covers your aircraft specifically.
Any defect rectification or time limited task execution is also subject to a work pack created by us acting as your CAMO. (Continued Airworthiness Management Organisation)
If you are on contract maintenance with us the cost of this is all covered in your maintenance contract. Otherwise it is charged at normal rates. See table below for pricing.
We also offer stand alone CAMO support for a fixed fee per annum. See table below for pricing.
