Insurance Work
If you are unlucky enough to have to claim on your insurance we will work fully with the insurance assessor and aid the insurance company in reaching an estimate in a timely manner. Once this has been agreed we will commence the work and have you back in the air as soon as possible.
- Our hourly rate for insurance work is £35 plus VAT
- We follow our menu pricing as the first means of costing for insurance purposes
- If there are any jobs which aren't covered by menu pricing we will co-ordinate this with your insurers and never leave you with a shortfall in terms of the agreed costs
Insurance work often provides you with an opportunity to renew things on your aircraft whilst the work is being completed. For example you may wish zero time your engine whilst it is being examined for shock loading.
If any such cases arise, we will work with you and your insurers in order to keep the costs down on both sides and separate the extra charges into an understandable bill to cover the additional work helping to turn your unfortunate claim from what may have been a negative into a positive!
