Defect Rectification
Obviously it is possible to spend a lot of money on hidden defects which you didn't even know existed but we like to at least discuss these matters with you and show you our reasoning before we go ahead and fix things.
During these discussions it is our policy to make you fully aware of the expected cost of repairing defects and give you all of the available options. The bottom line is that we work with you rather than simply present you with a bill. Our team of engineers are totally approachable and professional.
- Our hourly rate for defect rectification is £50 plus VAT
- As with scheduled maintenance, if we over run our estimate we do not charge you extra
- If we discover additional defects we always check with you before fixing them
Non Quantifiable Work
If a defect does not fall under our normal areas of expertise or if you request some special work which is difficult to estimate costs for, we will endeavour to give you a realistic cost before we commence the job. In such cases it may be that the job takes less time or maybe longer than first envisaged.
We will in any case keep you informed and stay as close to our original estimate as we can. As most of our work is menu priced or able to be estimated before hand this isn't normally the case. Most maintenance organisations charge like this for everything!
